Refund Policy, Terms & Conditions, and Privacy Policy for donations made on this website.

All donations made to Shri Chaitanya Health and Care Trust (SCHCT) are voluntary and generally non-refundable.

Refunds may be considered only in exceptional cases such as:

  • Duplicate transaction(s)
  • Technical error resulting in an incorrect charge
  • Payment processed but receipt shows wrong amount due to system malfunction

Refund request window: Please email us within 7 days of the transaction date with your name, amount, transaction reference/UTR, and contact details.

If approved, refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment only. Processing time may take 7–10 working days (depending on the payment gateway/bank).

Refunds are not available for reasons such as change of mind, inability to use a tax benefit, or preference for a different cause/project.

By donating on this website, you agree to the following:

  • Donations are made voluntarily, without any expectation of goods or services in return.
  • Donations will be used to support SCHCT’s charitable objectives and activities.
  • If a specific project/cause is fully funded or cannot be executed due to unforeseen reasons, SCHCT may re-allocate funds to similar charitable activities aligned with its mission.
  • Donation receipts will be issued as per applicable laws and information provided by the donor (including PAN where required).
  • Tax benefits (e.g., under Section 80G, if applicable) are subject to prevailing laws and donor eligibility.
  • SCHCT reserves the right to decline or refund a donation if required for compliance, fraud prevention, or regulatory reasons.

SCHCT respects donor privacy and is committed to protecting personal information.

Information we collect: Name, email/phone, address (if provided), PAN (where required), and transaction details, solely for donation processing, receipt issuance, compliance, and donor communication.

How we use it:

  • Processing donations and issuing receipts
  • Legal/regulatory compliance and audit requirements
  • Internal record-keeping and donor communication

Sharing: We do not sell or rent donor information. We may share limited information with payment gateway providers for transaction processing, and with government authorities if required by law.

Payment security: Online donations (if any) are processed through secure payment gateways. SCHCT does not store your card/bank details on its servers.

Data requests: You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us using the contact details on this website.
